About the Role

Tayco, a leading office furniture manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Metal Machine Operator to join our Day Shift team. As a key member of our Metal Team, you will be responsible for operating metal machines, such as punch presses, drilling machines, and milling machines, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tayco's Health & Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal machines to fabricate parts and components
  • Follow SOPs and Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Metal Team to achieve production goals
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
