Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Account Services Representative to join our team at Long & McQuade Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including credit approvals and account balances
  2. Process credit applications and approvals for term and balance forward accounts
  3. Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any issues related to their accounts
  4. Locate and update customer contact information as needed
  5. Perform various account maintenance tasks, including registration and reporting
  6. Work with Equifax reports and Small Claims Courts system to ensure accurate and timely processing
  7. Provide regular status reports to the Store Manager and Account Services Regional Manager

Requirements

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  3. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new software
  4. Experience with consumer credit and collections an asset
