Job Title: Guest Services Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Services Agent to join our team. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our internal and external guests, assisting with tour check-ins, generating reports for other departments, and acting as an ambassador of Fairmont Chateau Laurier.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with tour check-ins and greet tour guides and groups as required.
  • Generate reports for other departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as a key member of the crisis and emergency team, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Register and check out hotel guests, ensuring all service standards are followed.
  • Assist leadership in performing daily duties, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both official languages (English and French) is a requirement.
  • Previous Front Desk Agent experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle cash effectively and accurately, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with exposure to Opera, Property Manager, and Delphi, Word, and Excel is an asset.
  • Active listener, self-starter, and able to make decisions and take initiative.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and pleasant attitude, with a strong team player mentality.
