Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist - Airport Operations to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Director, Learning & Development, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing competency-focused training programs for YVR's frontline employees, as well as other departments and partners at YVR.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of training experience with skills in creating and implementing competency and engagement training programs. A post-secondary degree in Business Management or Human Resources is required; professional designations in training and/or facilitation are considered assets.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver engaging new hire onboarding, engagement, and leadership training programs for YVR employees.
- Research, write, and create interactive instructor-led and online course content, including all materials and modules for in-class and on-the-job training.
- Lead and organize training sessions as well as develop assessment and evaluations on skill retention and application.
- Collaborate and liaise with internal and external YVR partners and stakeholders to continually evaluate, improve, and revise training materials and plans.
- Responsible for ensuring all training materials and documentation, including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), are up-to-date, accurate, and reflective of a changing operational environment.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
