As a Corporate Training Development Specialist – Bilingual at Best Buy, you will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative people development and training programs. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to design engaging training experiences that meet the needs of employees.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our Learning & Development team as we continue to evolve and grow. As a Corporate Training Development Specialist – Bilingual, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop training strategies for new business initiatives, products, services, or performance gaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the planning and delivery of training programs and materials in both French and English, including webinars, virtual, hybrid, or physical classroom delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training strategies for new business initiatives, products, services, or performance gaps.
  • Work with leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to assess training needs and scope, understand execution gaps, and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies that necessitate training.
  • Develop training content in collaboration with the Learning and Development team, including job aids, webinars, eLearning, and other necessary resources. Evaluate and enhance existing training programs to meet identified needs and requirements.
  • Ensure all tracking, reporting of training events, and setup are completed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a learning specialist with related formal training.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Teams.
  • Experience in facilitating/presenting training programs in a corporate/retail setting.
  • Experience in learning content creation and tools such as Articulate.
