Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Kit and Ace. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a visually appealing store environment, and achieving sales targets.

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Retail Associate, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and enhancing the customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing world-class customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and inventory management.
  • Achieving daily sales targets through effective product presentation, suggestive selling, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns/exchanges.
  • Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management activities, including stockroom organization and maintenance.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support each other in meeting store objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some retail or customer service experience preferred.
