ProViso Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Specialist to join our team. This 7-month contract position, based in Toronto, requires expertise in Canadian Workday Payroll configuration.

About the Role

This expert-level professional role involves configuring and maintaining Workday Canadian Payroll, with a strong focus on payroll implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Workday Payroll configuration (Canadian and US payroll) and hold a Workday Canadian Payroll certification. Additionally, proficiency in coding skills and Excel is required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in payroll parallel testing, analyze large volumes of data, identify reasons for differences, and work with consultants to fix defects. They will also be responsible for providing feedback and thoughts on possible solutions to issues/risks arising throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess excellent communication skills and have good knowledge of system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules supported by the team. Experience with PeopleSoft and SQL knowledge are considered assets.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, ProViso Staffing offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
