Toronto, Canada Resonaite Full time

At Resonaite, we are seeking a highly skilled Expert Workday Optimizer to join our team in addressing and optimizing an existing Workday implementation for a client in the manufacturing sector.

This critical role involves conducting a thorough assessment of the current configuration, resolving ongoing challenges, and providing expert guidance on best practices for system integrity and data management. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the HR IT department and stakeholders to identify gaps, improve downstream workflows, and ensure system reliability.

We anticipate that this project will last between 3 to 6 months, working in a hybrid model from Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the existing Workday implementation to identify misconfigurations and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct a detailed data assessment to determine why configurations were implemented and how they can be improved.
  • Address challenges such as reactivated profiles, incorrect reporting structures, and non-standard data entry.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting downstream workflows and integrations.
  • Review and recommend improvements to the current integration pattern (e.g., SFTP) for scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with HR IT leads and stakeholders to define requirements and action plans.
  • Provide training or guidance to internal teams to ensure smooth system operation post-engagement.
  • Assist in identifying and rectifying data cleanup issues.
  • Support the migration of key personnel into the IT structure, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Act as a temporary point of contact to monitor and maintain the Workday environment, avoiding disruptions during the engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Workday implementation, optimization, and support.
  • Strong expertise in system integration, particularly with SFTP or similar patterns.
  • Solid understanding of HR and IT workflows, including user profiles, reporting structures, and data entry standards.
  • Ability to conduct detailed data assessments and recommend practical solutions.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location in Toronto.
