  • Coordinate patients and families in the transplant process, ensuring seamless transitions and timely communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and staff attending the transplant clinic.
  • Assume various administrative roles to support organ and tissue donation, including program development, education, project coordination, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

As required.
