MacEwan University is seeking to fill a full-time 12-month replacement term opportunity as a Stewardship Officer with our Donor Relations department. Stewardship is a key step in the donor cycle and helps to ensure that donors and partners experience high-quality interactions with the organization to foster long-term engagement and investment. In this role, you will manage the stewardship activity for all donors to MacEwan, including major and annual giving donations. You will also be assigned donors who are in the stewardship phase of the donor cycle, which includes planned giving donors, major donors, and endowment report recipients, and will be responsible for ensuring communications with all donors are strategic and effective.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing a stewardship plan, including a comprehensive plan on how donors are stewarded, stewardship benefits and communication timelines and strategy;
- Implementing stewardship engagement plans through effective communication with all fundraisers, senior development officers, development officers, the Director of Development and the AVP, Alumni and Development; and
- Planning and executing stewardship related events, including gift recognition events and the annual donor stewardship mixer.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of a degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or another related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a stewardship or fundraising role.
- Experience with CRM database.
- Experience with event and volunteer management.
- Raiser's Edge experience would be considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
