Overview

PepsiCo Canada is a leading beverage and snack food company with a strong presence in the Canadian market. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and success by leading the sales and distribution strategy for PepsiCo Beverages Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong ability to coach and develop a team of sales professionals. You will be responsible for maximizing volume and revenue in a defined area, as well as developing strong relationships with key customers in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives business growth and revenue
  • Lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees to achieve sales targets
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
  • Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations through consistent delivery and merchandising standards in a Geo-Box environment
  • Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
  • Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business
  • Demonstrated people leadership capability with a commitment to coaching and development
  • Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated analytical and math skills required to build key insights for quarterly and annual operating planning
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Strong change management skills required
  • Consumer products experience in a direct store delivery environment required
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Five years of people leadership required, preferably in a sales environment
