Job Description


We are seeking a motivated Sales Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Store Leadership Team by ensuring a stellar guest experience and driving sales results.


Key Responsibilities



  • As a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you’ll be an expert at driving sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class, in-store guest experience.
  • You’ll motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values, being a role-model leader and holding associates accountable to rocking AEO’s service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • You’ll recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs, taking pride in training and developing associates to provide outstanding service and represent a Guest First culture.
  • You’ll challenge Sales and Stock Associates with clear, attainable goals and consistently provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching, motivating associates and driving engagement by celebrating outstanding performance.
  • You’ll execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and rocking AEO Brand Standards.
  • You’ll maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection standards, and do the right thing – always.

Requirements



  • You should love AE and Aerie products.
  • Previous experience as a team leader in a retail management role is required.
  • You must be able to multi-task, have attention to detail, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage your time well.
  • Business acumen is essential for this role.
  • You should be available to work flexible hours when guests shop.
