Job Summary

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to join our team as a Director of Corporate Human Resources. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and support our company's overall objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading HR initiatives that impact large workforces with diverse needs. You will partner with managers and leaders across the business to understand present and future talent needs, ensuring an adequate focus on global talent management and employee development programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive results;
  • Assess organizational structure, capabilities, and culture to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to strengthen organizational effectiveness;
  • Oversee executive compensation programs to ensure alignment with company performance and governance standards;
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital;
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction;
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace;
  • Identify leadership development needs and create succession plans for key positions within the organization;
  • Partner with managers to identify critical roles, skills gaps, and future talent needs across the globe;
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to improve company performance and employee experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, including strong leadership experience at the Director or Executive level;
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources or other related discipline with relevant experience;
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be considered a strong asset;
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Executive Compensation programs within a public company would be considered a strong asset;
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results;
  • Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to shape and drive HR strategies;
  • Strong and current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
