Role Overview

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to join our team as a Director of Corporate Human Resources. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will partner with our President & CEO to drive strategic HR initiatives that support our business objectives and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our company's overall business objectives and strategy;
  • Assess our organization's structure, capabilities, and culture to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to strengthen our organizational effectiveness;
  • Oversee executive compensation programs to ensure they align with company performance and governance standards;
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital;
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction;
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace;
  • Identify leadership development needs and create succession plans for key positions within the organization;
  • Partner with managers to identify critical roles, skills gaps, and future talent needs across the globe;
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to improve company performance and employee experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources, including strong leadership experience, ideally at the Director or Executive level;
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, or other related discipline with relevant experience;
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation would be considered a strong asset;
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Executive Compensation programs within a public company would be considered a strong asset;
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results;
  • Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to shape and drive HR strategies;
  • Strong and current knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
