Job Description

The House of Commons Office of the Chief Executive Administrator is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the Senior Administrative Coordinator position.

As a key member of the team, the incumbent will provide specialized administrative, financial, logistical, technical, and information management support services for the Chief Executive Administrator.

Responsibilities include coordinating responses to enquiries/requests for information from Members' Offices, the Speaker's Office, the Clerk's Office, and House Administration managers.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in office administration, business administration, or information management, or equivalent proficiency obtained through a combination of secondary schooling, experience, and training.

Experience in providing executive and office management services to a senior official is essential, as is the ability to manage calendars, meetings, and event logistics.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to perform, adapt, and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.

They will also have experience conducting research, gathering information, and using compilation techniques to quickly respond to requests for past precedent, briefing notes, and decisions.

Proactive approaches to problem-solving, strong decision-making capability, and experience with Microsoft Suite applications are also required.

The ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is essential.

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work onsite 5 days a week.
