We are seeking an experienced Schedule Coordinator to join our Steelmaking Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and driving efficiency across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedules for maintenance work, shutdowns, and daily operations, utilizing tools like Quintiq, CMMS, and Microsoft Project
  • Provide PDF schedules for execution groups by trade, using MS Project/MS Excel
  • Schedule complex shutdown events and daily schedules, considering logistics, stakeholder interactions, machine, and materials requirements
  • Develop detailed job timelines, facilitate Job Risk Assessments, and maintain competency in scheduling methodologies
  • Review schedule eligible tasks, validate work alignment, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize resource allocation

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
  • Strong interpersonal management and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Intermediate personal computer and corporate standard software skills
  • Advanced scheduling software and practices skills

Desired Skills & Experiences:

  • Experience using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS project or equivalent
  • Knowledge of process equipment setup requirements, workforce planning, and scheduling techniques
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance activities, and principles of process equipment set up

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a bonus paid quarterly based on Company performance (10% of base salary earnings). Our comprehensive benefits package includes a Defined Contribution Pension Plan, Group Benefits with no health and dental premiums, and Profit Sharing after two years of permanent company service.
