About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of expertise in business analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts and driving the continuous improvement and strategy of Tangerine's business analysis chapter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of business analysts, including coaching and educating the team on best practices.
    • Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.
  • Business Analysis
    • Responsible for allocation, utilization, recruitment, and development of the business analysts to help achieve both personal and organizational objectives.
    • Leading and developing the team to provide a high level of professional service to clients (both internal and external).
  • Strategic Planning
    • Drive the continuous improvement and strategy of Tangerine's business analysis chapter spanning people, processes, methods, tools, and technologies.
    • Champion a client-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience
    • Years of business or operational analysis experience with at least 5 years in a management-level position.
    • Completion of post-secondary business/technology/systems or related area degree is required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills
    • Good understanding of banking business applications.
    • Keen interest in new and emerging technologies.
  • Abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Is energetic, personable, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
