Clinical Nutrition Professional

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a registered dietitian with expertise in diabetes management and education. The successful candidate will provide consultation, assessment, and education services to adult and pediatric patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients requiring nutritional intervention and provide treatment recommendations.
- Monitor and interpret blood glucose levels and laboratory values.
- Develop and maintain updated nutrition care plans.
- Provide diabetes education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition.
- Completion of a Dietitians of Canada approved dietetic internship.
- Eligibility for College of Dietitians of Ontario membership.
- Experience in clinical nutrition, consultation, and education for persons with diabetes.
- Commitment to providing a positive patient experience.
