Salary Information

We offer an estimated annual salary of $52,340 - $69,500, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist II to join our team in providing advanced clinical services, including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, as well as consultation and education to the interprofessional team and patients/families. As a Psychologist II, you will work with or within teams to provide and inform services for patients with complex and multi-dimensional medical, psychological, interpersonal, environmental, and/or instrumental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced clinical services, including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention
  • Consult and educate the interprofessional team and patients/families
  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in program, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement, and evaluation
  • Supervise doctoral level psychology residents, master's level interns, provisional psychologists, psychometrists, and other team members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A doctoral degree in Psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program
  • Active or eligible registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
  • Experience working in an applied area relevant to the practice setting
