Job Title: Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at Jelly Bean Daycare Centre Inc.

Job Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our children and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and performing minor repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
