Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Janitorial Assistant at Ark International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings, and perform other light housekeeping duties as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32.5 hours per week.
