Business Development Partner

At Sun Life Financial, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Partner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in onboarding, developing, and coaching our developing Advisors to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead developing Advisors through comprehensive onboarding and training programs.
  • Work closely with Advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sun Life obligations.
  • Recruit, select, train, and onboard new Advisors, and oversee the successful execution of an Onboarding Plan.
  • Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong product knowledge of insurance and wealth products, with a good understanding of the local market.
  • Proven sales management and business development skills.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience leading people through large-scale change in a matrix environment.
  • Previous experience in an Advisor role, with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors, is an asset.
