Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare teams, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and maintaining efficient communication channels. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare teams, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, medical records, and other relevant data.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized Unit Clerk training program required; High school education, Manitoba standards.
  • Experience: Previous related work experience preferred; Current hospital-based information systems/programs; scheduling systems/programs preferred.
  • Skills: Typing/keyboarding skills minimum 40 wpm required; Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written); Ability to organize, manage time, and prioritize workload.
Compensation

This position offers an attractive salary range of $20.09 - $23.29 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include a comprehensive health and dental plan, pension plan, and opportunities for professional development.
