Job Title: Medical Office Assistant - Urban Health Care

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Responsibilities:
    • Greet patients and direct them to contacts or service areas
    • Provide basic information to clients and the public
    • Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
    • Record and relay information
    • Schedule and confirm appointments
    • Maintain work records and logs
    • Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
    • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Computer skills: Electronic medical records, switchboard 1-25 lines, electronic scheduler, word processing software, database software, MS Word
