Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations in the Crime Classification Unit to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination with industry partners and EPS stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the National Data Manager Committee to discuss legislative changes and implement updates to the UCR manual.
  • Review and approve staffing schedules, including extra pay claims, and provide reports on staff performance.
  • Lead a team of crime classifiers, setting performance goals and monitoring progress.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Five years of experience in leading and supervising a medium to large work group, preferably in law enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and police databases.
Benefits
  • Salary Range: $33.943 - $42.466 per hour (equivalent to $70,872.98 - $88,669.01 annually).
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Candidates must undergo an Enhanced Security Clearance as part of the hiring process.
