Surgical Instrument Preparation Specialist

About the JobWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Instrument Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Device Reprocessing department, you will be responsible for preparing surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare case carts for surgical procedures
- Process instruments, scopes and equipment
- Assemble and restock supplies
- Maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6 months related experience in a medical device reprocessing setting
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Certification in Medical Device Reprocessing is an asset
You will also need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
