Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical devices.
Job Description- Disassemble and decontaminate surgical instruments, respiratory equipment, and other patient-care equipment according to established procedures.
- Assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and surgical linens as prescribed by departmental operating procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental processes and patient care.
Key Requirements:
- Current experience in medical device reprocessing is required.
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent education is necessary.
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A RECOGNIZED CRCST PROGRAM WITH APPROPRIATE CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
