Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Glenmore Lodge Care Community. As a LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a supportive environment for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Collaborate with the registered nurse to ensure seamless care delivery and address any changes in resident status in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and interprofessional team members to achieve optimal care outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment, documentation, and education to enhance your practice and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
  • Successful completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
  • Current First Aid with CPR certification.
  • All applicants must pass a prescribed Criminal Records Check.

  • Long-term care experience.

Compensation:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $32.84-$41.35, which may be subject to change based on collective agreement pay rates.
