Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at KFC Island Hwy Nanaimo. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following established recipes and food safety guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
