Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food to order, following established recipes and presentation standards.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, ovens, and fryers.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Take orders and operate a cash register, handling customer payments and making change as needed.
  • Housekeeping and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
    • Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are sanitized and stored properly.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in food service or a related field an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability
    • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
