About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and package food items for customers
    • Portion and wrap food items according to company standards
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Food Handling and Safety
    • Handle and store food items in a safe and sanitary manner
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Take customers' orders and respond to customer inquiries
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars according to company standards
    Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
