Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Outlets Manager to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, motivating employees and directing the organization of the food and beverage outlets.
- Ensure effective leadership, training, development, coaching, and performance management of employees.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and ensure consistency throughout the team.
- Manage daily payroll, revenues, and forecasted productivities.
- Build and maintain a positive work environment, employee relationships, and consistency in high employee satisfaction.
- Ensure a clean and well-maintained work environment, with emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
- Provide on-floor leadership and resources to team members to ensure their success.
- Maintain open communication with all departments within the hotel and pass information along to employees.
- Create incentive programs, monthly food and beverage promotions, and continuous improvement ideas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hotel food and beverage leadership experience.
- Extensive knowledge in all areas of F&B service.
- A passion for food, wine, and exceptional guest service.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Proven leadership, administrative, and staff development skills.
- Flexibility to work as business volumes dictate.
- Computer literacy, with preference given to individuals with strong knowledge of Micros 9700 and Opera.
