Job Title: Food and Beverage Outlets Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Outlets Manager to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, motivating employees and directing the organization of the F&B outlet.
  • Ensure effective leadership, training, development, coaching, and performance management of employees.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of guest service and consistency throughout the team.
  • Manage daily payroll, revenues, and forecasted productivities.
  • Build and maintain a positive work environment, employee relationships, and consistency in high employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure a clean and well-maintained work environment, promoting employee health and safety.
  • Provide on-floor leadership and resources to team members to ensure their success.
  • Maintain open communication with all departments within the hotel and pass information to employees.
  • Create incentive programs, monthly promotions, and continuous improvement ideas.
  • Involve the Restaurant Management team to ensure accurate employee performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Hotel Food and Beverage leadership experience.
  • Extensive knowledge in all areas of F&B service.
  • A passion for food, wine, and exceptional guest service.
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership, administrative, and staff development skills.
  • Flexibility to work as business volumes dictate.
  • Computer literacy, with a preference for individuals with strong knowledge of Micros 9700 and Opera.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all co-workers and external candidates.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Having vision and the ability to lead employees consistently to achieve goals.
