Job Title: Office Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Support Specialist to join our team at St. Mary's Bay Fisheries Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to office operations, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, processing, and verifying applications and receipts.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including preparing invoices and bank deposits.
  • Provide general information to clients and the public, and respond to telephone and electronic enquiries.
  • Perform data entry, photocopying, and collating documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
