About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at eNature Greenhouses Inc. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain financial and production records to ensure accurate tracking of farm operations.
  • Negotiate with clients to provide services and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
  • Ensure the maintenance of quality control and production records.
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
  • Maintain work records and logs.
  • Hire and train staff.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Perform general farm duties.
Requirements
  • 11-15 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and Pesticide Applicator's Licence.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
