Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in advancing our equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives and promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EDI strategies and programs to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance EDI initiatives and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual EDI programming and events that promote broader organizational engagement and EDI education.
  • Provide advice and coaching to employees on EDI-related matters and develop data-driven solutions to address EDI challenges.
  • Partner with Communications and Recruitment teams to build EDI brand, outreach, and visibility aligned to our national EDI strategy.
  • Oversee general EDI and culture communications targeted to employees, including reviewing and updating related content in newsletters and intranet.
  • Contribute to and participate in relevant committees across the organization to embed EDI at the earliest stages of planning.
  • Oversee external partnerships related to EDI.
Requirements
  • Completed education in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing HR or EDI strategy.
  • Experience in leading and developing communications and employee engagement initiatives, ideally in EDI.
  • Experience in analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Experience in providing advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR.
  • Strong experience in communications, including writing and delivering reports and presentations.
  • Strong ability to work with and collaborate with leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set own priorities while maintaining flexibility.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Availability to work overtime, when necessary.
