Role: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Manager

Reporting to the National Director of EDI, this role will partner with internal stakeholders, particularly in Communications, Talent Advisory, Recruitment, and Action Committees. Your primary focus will be activating and amplifying EDI initiatives both internally and externally, contributing to a cohesive national EDI, People & Culture Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of annual EDI programming and events.
  • Serve as the main advisor to the Firm's Action Committees and affinity groups, overseeing their annual planning and programming budget.
  • Develop and implement EDI strategies, best practices, and metrics to measure firm progress.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Recruitment in building an impactful EDI brand, outreach, and visibility aligned with the national EDI, People & Culture strategy.
  • Oversee general EDI and culture communications, including reviewing and updating related content in newsletters and intranet platforms.
  • Partner with Talent and HR teams to embed EDI principles within their talent processes.
  • Contribute to and participate in relevant committees across the firm to integrate EDI at the earliest stages of planning.
  • Manage external partnerships related to EDI initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Completed education in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Sociology, Law).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing HR or EDI strategy within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience leading and developing communications and employee engagement initiatives, ideally in the EDI space.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Experience providing advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and delivering reports and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and maintain flexibility.
