Job Title: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and contributing to the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of cooks in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and inventory management
  • Monitor kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Train and mentor junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
