Dean of Health Sciences and Community Services

RRC Polytechnic is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Health Sciences and Community Services. As a key member of the institution's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership to the school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic programs that align with the institution's strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the school, aligning with the institution's academic and applied research plans.
- Provide leadership to the school's leadership team, ensuring effective management of the school's budget and resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, organizations, and stakeholders, promoting the school's vision, mission, and values.
- Ensure the school operates collaboratively, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in program development and delivery.
- Implement and report on quality assurance benchmarks for the school and its academic department operations.
Requirements:
- A graduate degree in a related discipline, combined with 7 years of education and recent, relevant senior leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success as a dynamic, innovative leader at a senior level, with a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, anti-racism, social justice, diversity, and creating inclusive communities.
- Experience in organizational planning, project and change management, and financial management at the corporate or institutional level.
- A collaborative management style, with a demonstrated strength in customer service, delivering results, handling complexity, and thinking globally.
- Excellent interpersonal and group facilitative skills, with the ability to initiate and develop effective partnerships and alliances with industry, government, associations, and educational institutions.
What We Offer:
A competitive compensation package, including an attractive base salary and excellent benefits. The salary range is $129,820 to $173,836. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
