Dean, Health Sciences and Community Services
RRC Polytechnic is a leader in applied learning and innovation, seeking a visionary leader to drive academic excellence and strategic growth in our Health Sciences and Community Services school.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality leadership and direction to the school, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in program development and delivery. They will ensure that all programming and projects meet current and emerging sector and community labour market needs, while maintaining the highest standards of academic and external accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive academic excellence and growth in the school
- Provide leadership and direction to the school's leadership team, ensuring effective management of the school's budget and resources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, organizations, and stakeholders to advance the school's mission and goals
- Ensure that all programming and projects are relevant, innovative, and meet the needs of the sector and community
- Champion a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and applied research, and promote a student-centered approach to education
Requirements
- A graduate degree in a related discipline, with a combination of 7 years of education and recent, relevant senior leadership experience
- Demonstrated success as a dynamic, innovative leader at a senior level, with a proven track record of driving academic excellence and growth
- Demonstrated commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, anti-racism, social justice, diversity, and creating inclusive communities
- Excellent interpersonal and group facilitative skills, with the ability to build and sustain teams, and promote effective partnerships and alliances
- Experience in organizational planning, project and change management, and financial management at the corporate or institutional level
What We Offer
A competitive compensation package, including an attractive base salary and excellent benefits. The salary range is $129,820 to $173,836. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
