Leaders International – Dean, Health Sciences and Community Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Health Sciences and Community Services at Leaders International. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and academic leadership to the school, ensuring high-quality programming and innovative approaches to meet the needs of the sector and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and leadership to the school, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement academic programs and services that meet or exceed internal and external accreditation standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the school's budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and organizations, fostering collaboration and advancing the interests of Leaders International.
  • Ensure that all programming and projects are relevant to meet current and emerging sector and community labour market needs.
  • Contribute to the sustainability, well-being, and growth of Leaders International through membership on the Senior Academic Committee and other governance bodies.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of academic leadership and strategic direction.
  • Experience in developing and implementing academic programs and services.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and organizations.
