RRC Polytechnic is a leader in applied learning and innovation, seeking a visionary leader to drive the success of our Health Sciences and Community Services school. As Dean, you will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership, fostering a culture of excellence in program development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the school, aligning with the College's academic and applied research plans
  • Lead a team of faculty and staff to deliver high-quality academic programs, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, organizations, and government agencies to advance the school's mission and goals
  • Ensure the school operates collaboratively, promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity
  • Develop and implement quality assurance benchmarks for the school and its academic department operations

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in a related discipline, with a combination of 7 years of education and recent, relevant senior leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success as a dynamic, innovative leader at a senior level, with a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, anti-racism, social justice, and diversity
  • Experience in organizational planning, project and change management, and financial management at the corporate or institutional level
  • Excellent interpersonal and group facilitative skills, with the ability to initiate and develop effective partnerships and alliances
