Job Summary

At Swegon North America, we are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective project management.

You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, providing technical expertise, and post-sales support while optimizing customer retention and loyalty. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and operations, will be key to timely and budget-compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Coordination: Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, serve as the primary project contact, and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  2. Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from booking to closure, including timelines, budgets, and resource coordination.
  3. Project Scope Accuracy: Ensure accurate project scope definition and management.
  4. Technical Expertise: Review project requirements, communicate specifications to the engineering team, and ensure timely execution.
  5. Project Documentation: Efficiently track, document, and consolidate project information, managing contract terms and conditions in line with client and company needs.
  6. Project Closure: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and change logs.
  7. Site Management: Manage site visits, sign-off letters, and post-order processes such as billing and invoicing.
  8. Risk Management: Address concerns promptly and develop and implement risk mitigation plans for smooth project execution.
  9. Quality Management: Ensure compliance with the requirements of the in-house Quality Management System and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  10. Knowledge Sharing: Participate in post-project reviews to extract lessons learned and enhance future practices.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  2. Knowledge of project management principles and practices, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  4. Engineering or technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate the engineering requirements of the project to all stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
  6. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  7. Knowledge of the industry or market in which the company operates.
  8. Proficient in customer relationship management software and tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
