Position Overview

The role of the Project Engineer is pivotal in delivering exceptional client experiences through proficient management of various projects. The Project Engineer acts as a key liaison, ensuring client satisfaction by providing technical knowledge and support after the sale, while enhancing customer loyalty and retention.

Tasked with a portfolio of technical initiatives, the Project Engineer works in close collaboration with diverse teams, including sales, design, and operations, to guarantee projects are executed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships, serving as the main point of contact for projects, and offering regular updates regarding progress, risks, and key milestones.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to outline project scope and objectives, managing the complete project lifecycle from initiation to completion, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  3. Ensure accuracy in project scope.
  4. Analyze project requirements, relay specifications to the engineering team, and oversee timely project execution.
  5. Effectively monitor, document, and compile project data, managing contract stipulations in alignment with client and organizational needs.
  6. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and change logs.
  7. Coordinate site visits, sign-off documentation, and post-order activities such as billing and invoicing.
  8. Respond to concerns promptly and devise risk mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  9. Ensure adherence to the in-house Quality Management System and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  10. Engage in post-project evaluations to gather insights and improve future methodologies.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
  2. Familiarity with project management methodologies, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  4. Technical or engineering background, with the capability to comprehend and convey engineering project requirements to all parties involved.
  5. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks and challenges.
  6. Excellent organizational and planning skills, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  7. Understanding of the industry or market relevant to the organization.
  8. Proficient in customer relationship management software and tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
