Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Telford Food Services. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counters.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups, to meet customer demands.
- Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used, restock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English or French language proficiency is required.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We welcome and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
- On-the-Job Training: We offer tailored on-the-job training for youth and newcomers.
- Indigenous Support: We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
