Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, address complaints or concerns, and provide a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Team Collaboration: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
