About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Telford Food Services. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train and develop staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, and that customers receive exceptional service.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, and ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
