Job Summary

The Crew Chief or Technician is a key role within our team at ServiceMaster Restore, responsible for managing and conducting various general cleaning services at assigned residential and commercial client sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage and conduct various general cleaning services at assigned client sites.
  2. Provide direction and support to assigned Crew Helpers and Technicians.
  3. Inspect materials and equipment required for scheduled jobs and ensure they are in good working order.
  4. Complete jobs to specifications to customer satisfaction.
  5. Manage work assignments within allocated units and ensure materials and equipment units taken are recorded on work orders.
  6. Facilitate customer inspection of the job after completion and process payment for work completed.
  7. Maintain all equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order.
  8. Attend weekly meetings with production team and training workshops as required.
  9. Help train new crew helpers/technicians in accordance with ServiceMaster standards.
  10. Adhere to all company workplace policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Results-oriented individual with effective management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage clients and deliver excellent service.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings and with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Work experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in cleaning services/restoration services.
  • Job-related experience: Two (2) years in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
