Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Team Lead to join our team at Metro Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network professionals to ensure the optimal performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of network engineers to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services
  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Manage network budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company funds
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of network services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and management
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, and Wi-Fi
  • Experience with Cisco telephony systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
  • Ability to travel occasionally between Metro's offices in Laval, Montreal, Varennes, and Ontario
