About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Metro Inc. in the Fruits and Vegetables department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including purchasing, inventory management, and cost control.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customers receive a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in the management of store personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a retail or grocery store environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
